When I first started wearing my Hearing Aid Safety Aids™, the objective was to prevent the loss of the hearing aids. However, there is another benefit to wearing Safety Aids that isn't readily obvious. The Hearing Aid Safety Aid helps keep your hearing aid behind your ear and the receiver where it is supposed to be: In your ear canal. The subtle pressure of having the chain hanging while connected to your earring is enough to cause your hearing aid to sit better behind your ear! The receiver doesn't "walk out of" your ear as easily. Taking your glasses on/off will not be as disruptive to your hearing aids - you will still get noise interference if the bows knock into the microphones but the hearing aids are going to stay put when you have your Hearing Aid Safety Aids attached. Good news for all of you who wear glasses part time, or who have trouble keeping the receiver in your ear canal!
